Sweet & Sour Coleslaw

Ingredients:
1 - medium head cabbage, finely shredded
½ - medium onion, chopped fine
1 - medium carrot, peeled and shredded
¼ cup - olive oil
¼ cup - cider vinegar
3 Tablespoons - Florida Crystals® Natural Cane Sugar
½ teaspoon - salt
¼ teaspoon - celery seed

Preparation:
Blend together the cabbage, onion and carrot. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, cider vinegar, Florida Crystals® Milled Cane Sugar, salt and celery seeds.

Combine the vegetables and the dressing, and toss until the vegetables are well coated. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Toss again before serving.

Serving Quantity: 6 to 8


Quick Tip:
Despite the name, celery seeds are not related to the common celery that we know and use daily. They are, in fact, the seeds of the Lovage plant. Their flavor is strong, so a little goes a long way.
