Tangy Agave BBQ Sauce

1/4 cup - Florida Crystals® Organic Amber Agave Nectar
2 cups - ketchup
1 cup - water
1 tablespoon - hot sauce
1 tablespoon - Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon - white vinegar
1 teaspoon - soy sauce
1 teaspoon - salt
1/2 teaspoon - onion powder
1/4 teaspoon - paprika
1/4 teaspoon - black pepper
2 tablespoons - flour
2 tablespoons - water
1/2 stick butter

In a large saucepan over low to medium heat, combine agave, ketchup, 1 cup water, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, soy sauce, salt, onion powder, paprika and black pepper. Allow mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes. In a small bowl, dissolve flour and two tablespoons water. Whisk into the sauce mixture. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Cut butter into small pieces and whisk into the sauce until it is combined. Allow the sauce to simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

Store remaining sauce, that has not come in contact with raw meat, in the refrigerator.

Makes about 3 cups.
