Hot Chocolate On A Stick

If you have a mini muffin pan, you can make your own Hot Chocolate on a Stick. When you're ready for a fresh cup of cocoa, stir chocolate into a mug of hot milk until melted and enjoy!


24 (1 tablespoon) servings


  • 3/4 cup Florida Crystals® Organic Powdered Raw Cane Sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag dark chocolate chips
  • 1 (11.5 ounce) bag milk chocolate chips
  • 14 caramel hard candies, crushed
  • 24 popsicle sticks


In a large bowl, sift together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside.

Melt chocolate chips together in microwave or in a double boiler. When smooth and all chips are completely melted, stir into sugar mixture until smooth. Spoon one measured tablespoon into each muffin pan opening. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon crushed candies on top. Insert a stick into the center of each.

Refrigerate until chocolate hardens, about 1 hour.  Remove tray; allow to sit out for 3 to 5 minutes at room temperature. Lift out and wrap each with plastic wrap or store all in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from heat or light.


To serve:
Pour 8 ounces hot milk into a heat-safe mug. Place one Hot Chocolate on a Stick into milk. Stir until chocolate melts.
