Quick Red Onion Pickles

1 - red onion, sliced very thin
3 Tbsp - balsamic vinegar
3 Tbsp - Florida Crystals® Certified Organic Sugar
½ tsp - cracked black pepper

Mix all of the ingredients in a non-reactive bowl. Refrigerate at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure all ingredients are well coated.

Balsamic vinegar is a dark, mild vinegar originally made in Italy. The quality ranges greatly and is usually determined by the length of the aging process.
