Grilled Pineapple with Rum Raisin Ice Cream

1 - ripe, fresh pineapple
¼ cup - Florida Crystals® Certified Organic Sugar
1 pint - rum raisin ice cream

Peel and core pineapple. Cut into ½ inch thick slices. Sprinkle the pineapple slices with Florida Crystals® Certified Organic Sugar and grill and over medium-low heat until nicely browned, turning once.

Remove from grill and immediately top with a scoop of rum raisin ice cream and serve.

Quick Tip:
When purchasing fresh pineapple, look for one that is slightly soft to the touch and has a golden color. The leaves should be firm and green. Avoid pineapples with soft spots and bruises.
